“In Our Own Words” is the first film festival in Poland dedicated to indigenous cultures and languages. It is an official event of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL) proclaimed for 2022-2032 by the United Nations. We celebrate diversity and showcase the culture and languages of different communities. We also focus on the problems faced by indigenous peoples.
/”Własnymi słowami” to pierwszy w Polsce festiwal filmowy poświęcony rdzennym kulturom i językom. Oficjalne wydarzenie Międzynarodowej Dekady Języków Rdzennych (International Decade of Indigenous Languages — IDIL) proklamowanej na lata 2022-2032 przez ONZ. Świętujemy różnorodność, przybliżamy kulturę oraz języki społeczności mniejszościowych, ale też nie stronimy od problemów, z jakimi boryka się ludność rdzenna./
