Zaproszenie na międzynarodowe seminarium / Invitation to an International Seminar: : „Language as a Vehicle of Intangible Cultural Heritage”
Serdecznie zapraszamy do udziału w międzynarodowym seminarium organizowanym przez Uniwersytet Warszawski we współpracy z UNESCO Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage oraz Center for Research and Practice in Cultural Continuity.
Wydarzenie odbędzie się 21 maja 2026 roku w Auli im. prof. Jana Baszkiewicza . Seminarium organizowane jest z okazji Międzynarodowego Dnia Różnorodności Kulturowej i poświęcone będzie roli języka jako nośnika niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego.
W programie przewidziano: sesję wprowadzającą dotyczącą znaczenia języka w kontekście dziedzictwa niematerialnego oraz dwa panele dyskusyjne: „Języki mniejszościowe a różnorodność kulturowa” i „Technologia i sztuczna inteligencja w ochronie dziedzictwa”.
Konferencja będzie prowadzona w języku angielskim.
Udział w wydarzeniu jest otwarty dla wszystkich zainteresowanych, jednakże podlega rejestracji. Zachęcamy do udziału studentów, doktorantów, pracowników naukowych oraz osoby zainteresowane tematyką dziedzictwa kulturowego.
We invite you to participate in an international seminar organized by the University of Warsaw in collaboration with the UNESCO Chair on Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Center for Research and Practice in Cultural Continuity.
The event will take place on May 21, 2026 in the Prof. Jan Baszkiewicz Auditorium. The seminar is organized to mark International Day for Cultural Diversity and will focus on the role of language as a vehicle of intangible cultural heritage.
The program includes an introductory session on the significance of language in the context of intangible heritage, as well as two panel discussions: “Minority Languages and Cultural Diversity” and “Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Heritage Preservation.”
The conference will be conducted in English.
Participation in the event is open to all interested parties. We encourage students, doctoral candidates, researchers, and anyone interested in the subject of cultural heritage to attend.
