Panel dyskusyjny Języki edukacji / Languages in education discussion panel
Edukacja w swoim własnym języku powinna być dostępna dla każdego. W długofalowej perspektywie gwarantuje lepsze szanse życiowe dzieciom oraz sprzyja utrzymaniu się w systemie edukacji. Ponadto dla języków mniejszości oraz zagrożonych obecność nauczania to często szansa na przetrwanie. O tych oraz innych tematach związanych z językami edukacji porozmawiają:

dr hab. Helena Duć-Fajfer, prof. UJ – literaturoznawczyni, łemkoznawczyni, historyczka sztuki, redaktorka, poetka; kierowniczka Katedry Antropologii i Komparatystyki Kulturowo-Literackiej w Instytucie Filologii Wschodniosłowiańskiej Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego; założycielka kierunku/ specjalności filologia rosyjska z językiem rusińsko-łemkowskim na Uniwersytecie Pedagogicznym w Krakowie, gdzie wykładała język, kulturę i literaturę łemkowską
Justyna Majerska-Sznajder ukończyła zarządzanie kulturą oraz etnologię na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim w Krakowie. Jest doktorantką na Wydziale „Artes Liberales” Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Od dzieciństwa zajmuje się rewitalizacją kultury Wymysiöeryś w swoim rodzinnym mieście Wilamowice. Uczy Wymysiöeryś w lokalnej szkole i w domu.
Panel poprowadzi:
Aleksandra Pezda, Dziennikarka, publicystka, freelancerka. Specjalizuje się w problemach współczesnej edukacji. Kilkanaście lat pracowała w Gazecie Wyborczej, prowadziła autorski program w Radiu TOK FM, pisała m.in. o tym, jak szkoła odnajduje się wobec wyzwań cywilizacji cyfrowej. Autorka książek: „Koniec Epoki Kredy. Internet dla nauczycieli i rodziców” i “Zdrowaś mario. Reportaże o medycznej marihuanie”. Współautorka i prowadząca wielu konferencji i debat, dotyczących edukacji oraz problemów społecznych. Współpracuje m.in. z Onetem, Forbes Women, Urodą Życia.
Education in your mother tongue should be available to everyone. In the long term, it guarantees better life chances for children and helps them to remain in the education system. In addition, for minority and endangered languages, the use of the language at school is often a chance to survive. These and other topics related to the languages of education will be discussed by:
Alastair Cole – author of the film Colours of the Alphabet
dr hab. Helena Duć-Fajfer, prof. UJ – literary scholar, Lemko scholar, art historian, editor, poet; head of the Department of Anthropology and Cultural and Literary Comparative Studies at the Institute of East Slavonic Philology at the Jagiellonian University; the founder of the specialization / Russian philology with the Ruthenian-Lemko language at the Pedagogical University in Krakow, where she lectured on Lemko language, culture and literature
Justyna Majerska-Sznajder – has graduated with a degree in Culture Management and from Ethnology at the Jagiellonian
University in Krakow. She is a PhD student at the Faculty of “Artes Liberales” at the University of Warsaw. Since childhood, she has been involved in the revitalization of Wymysiöeryś culture in her hometown Wilamowice. She teaches Wymysiöeryś at the local school and at the home.
Moderator:
Aleksandra Pezda – journalist, publicist, freelancer. Specializes in contemporary education issues. She worked at Gazeta Wyborcza for several years, led her own program on Radio TOK FM, wrote, among others about how the school is facing the challenges of digital civilization. Author of books: ‘The End of the Cretaceous Era. Internet for teachers and parents” and “Hail Mary. Reports on medical marijuana.” Co-author and host of many conferences and debates on education and social problems. Works among others with Onet, Forbes Women, Beauty of Life.
